Nate Bronstein, MSEd, MPA, MSSP, is a former teacher from North Philadelphia; he earned his Masters in Education, Public Administration and the Science of Social Policy respectively, from the University of Pennsylvania.  Nate has extensive experience as a consultant on state-wide policy initiatives as well as political initiatives as well as political campaign strategy and management.  He has spent the last three years working as both the Co-Founder and CEO of one DC-based startup and one Philadelphia-based startup working to solve inefficiencies in how people connect, organize and manage their resources.  Nate has extensive experience in the social good company from a for-profit, non-profit and governmental perspective.

He has successfully launched two companies and consulted on many others, as well as having actively participated in 19 unique leadership and business development incubators and accelerators.  Nate has written for the chronicle of social change and is currently serving on the board of Philadelphia's oldest and largest music school.  He is a Philadelphia native and has a long history of youth civic engagement having become a Truman Finalist, the campaign manager of a political campaign and the student body president of American University in 2011.

Kelly Wolgast, DNP, RN, FACHE, FAAN COL (R), US Army is an  Associate Teaching Professor and Assistant Dean for Outreach and Professional Development at Penn State University's Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing. Prior to arriving at Penn State in August 2016, Dr. Wolgast was Assistant Professor and Specialty Director for the Healthcare Leadership program at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN. Dr. Wolgast is also an Army Veteran. She served over 26 years on Active Duty in the United States Army as an Army Nurse and retired as a Colonel.  Her experiences include earning the Bronze Star for combat experience as Deputy Commander and Chief Nurse in Afghanistan, a deployment in support of Hurricane Katrina relief operations in New Orleans, serving as a Hospital Commander, and serving as the Senior Nurse Executive of the U.S. Army Medical Command.  Dr. Wolgast has many years of executive nursing and healthcare leadership experience and has a strong background in Medical-Surgical Nursing. 

​Dr. Wolgast earned her Baccalaureate degree in Nursing from Penn State University, a Master of Science in Nursing (Administration and Education) from Vanderbilt University, a Masters in Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, and a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (Executive Nurse Leadership) from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.  Dr. Wolgast is a Fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE) and a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing (AAN).

Tracy A. Walker, DNP, RN, CPNP-PC/AC is the Advanced Practice Provider Manager for Interventional Radiology, Sedation, and Wound Ostomy at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia.

Nursing became Rosa's second career after teaching for 5 years and then graduated from York College with her BSN. Her nursing career started at Penn State Hershey followed by a 34-year career at WellSpan. After several clinical experiences in OB-GYN, Orthopedics, and ICU, Rosa held several nursing leadership roles including Nurse Manager, Director roles and then spending the last 12 years as a CNO at one of the WellSpan hospitals. Nursing Advocacy is her passion, and she currently participates in nursing advocacy with Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders (PONL), American Organization of Nursing Leadership (AONL), and Pennsylvania Coalition of Nurse Practitioners (PCNP).

President, Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP)

Kieran Cook serves as the President of the Student Nurses Association of Pennsylvania (SNAP), where he leads and supports the organization’s efforts to advance nursing education and student engagement. He focuses on strengthening the association’s structure, fostering professional development, and enhancing communication among members. Under his leadership, SNAP has worked to improve organizational efficiency and promote effective teamwork. Kieran’s approach emphasizes collaboration, transparency, and the growth of nursing students. His leadership is driven by a commitment to empowering future nurses and supporting their development.

CFPA Advisory Board

Dr. Barbara Todd is the Director of Practice & Education - Advanced Practice at the Hospital University of Pennsylvania and is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Nursing and Senior Fellow at the Center for Health Outcomes and Policy at the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. She has practiced as a nurse practitioner in the Philadelphia region for the past 32 years and is an experienced clinician and administrator for advanced practice providers. She has been instrumental in developing NP models of care in several large academic medical centers. Her clinical interest has been in cardiovascular health, with a focus on valvular heart disease and role transition for nurse practitioners. She has published extensively and presented nationally on advanced practice clinical and administrative topics. She is certified in both family practice and acute care.

CFPA Advisory Board

Dr. Mary Jean Osborne is the Project Coordinator for the nursing programs of Northampton Community College (NCC). Prior to transitioning to the Coordinator role, Dr. Osborne served as Director of the RN and PN nursing programs at NCC (2005-2022). Under her leadership a preceptorship was integrated into Associate Degree program and a grant funded Shared Clinical Faculty Program in partnership with Lehigh Valley Hospital and Health Network (LVHHN) was successfully implemented. Prior to serving as Program Director, Dr. Osborne served in the roles of Trauma Clinical Specialist and later Director of Patient Care Services for Trauma and Cardiovascular Surgery at LVHHN. Dr. Osborne is President of the PA Chapter of the Organization of Associate Degree Nursing (OADN), and the PA Colleges of Associate Degree Nursing. Dr. Osborne is committed to the initiatives of the Pennsylvania Action Coalition (PA-AC). She served as President of the Academic Progression in PA subcommittee and currently serves on the PA-AC Executive Committee.
