Brain health is shaped by far more than medical care. Factors such as access to healthcare, education, economic stability, the environment, social connection, and community resources can all influence brain health across the life course. Yet these opportunities are not distributed equally, and many communities face greater barriers to prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and support for brain-related conditions.
This webinar will examine these disparities, highlight the experiences and perspectives of affected communities, and explore promising approaches for advancing brain health equity. Ultimately, this webinar will answer the question, “How can we ensure that everyone has a fair opportunity to achieve and maintain good brain health?”
This program is designed for healthcare professionals, including nurses, who are interested in learning how to provide equitable brain health care.
Registration is required, no charge to attend. Continuing Education (CE) credits may be available for attendees.
